Last day of the year!!!!

I really wanted to post these images here before the year wrapped, (Thanks Hasbro for letting me do it). We worked really hard to get our designs to a point we felt we were giving the fans something fresh while still being respectful of the characters history. I think they look fantastic on the show.

Big shout out to Augusto Barranco who did all the color work on these guys and thanks to the rest of my team Walter Gatus, Daniel Park and Christie Tseng for bringing the bots and vehicles together, I couldn't have done it with out you guys. Also Jeff kline, Dave Hartman, Duane Capizzi and Therese Trujillo should get as much credit as well for being there since day one in the creation of these guys. Really looking forward to next year.

Hello Everyone,

I've been keeping this quite for awhile but my new sketchbook is finally in my hands, so here it is: 4:00 AM.

The title of the book celebrates the fact that 4:00 AM is the average time I've been going to sleep in the past few months. I know artists are no strangers to late nights but I just feel I've been doing it too much haha!. I've been working on four major projects this year, three of them unfortunately I can't talk about and the fourth, well the fourth one is another special book that will be out later this year: Mariachi-Samurai Vol.2

4:00 AM has the very first sneak peek of what's coming, it's just a few images that I hope you'll enjoy. The rest of the book is a great collection of character work, most of the stuff it's making it out to the public eye for the first time.

The Book will debut at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, so if you are going to the con make sure to stop by at table H9 and say hello and pick up a copy.

I'll post some pic's soon and I'll have more info about the con and Mariachi in the next few posts.

These are a couple of sketches I did for two very kind souls that purchased Mariachi Samurai thru my online store. The Mariachi sketch was fun, I've been drawing that guy quite a bit lately, oops!! I think I've said too much haha!

Batman was a special request, I think it has a The Batman vibe to it that I like. It's hard to shake that stuff off when you did four seasons of it, a lot of fun to do and it brought great memories back.

These are a few guys I did while at Google. With the animals I tried a new technique where I would draw a shape and then try to figure out what type of animal would come out of it. You should try it, it will force you to see things from a different perspective. Take care!

This was a ton of fun, I spent about 40 minutes painting this and at the end I hated it. Trashed the color, started again and 10 minutes later it worked just fine.

Sometimes just a little touch is enough to say it all.

Hey, I drew that! Word is finally out about the project I worked on middle of last year. After Google I went back to WB to be the main Character Designer on this project.

Produced by Bruce Timm and Directed by Lauren Montgomery. Working with Bruce was a dream come true and the collaboration between him and Lauren made this project the most fun I've had in a long time. The film is epic and I'm sure it's going to blow you away.

I can't show you any art until the film comes out in July, but I'll post whatever I find online that is released by WB. Also check out the official site.

As many of you know I left Warner Bros. about a year ago to start a new project at GOOGLE. So, another season of the Batman got pick up late last year with the great news that they were bringing Superman into the show. Close friends know that I'm a huge Superman fan and I was very fortunate to be able to design him for the upcomming season.
