Mariachi Samurai Vol.1

I'm very proud to finally be able to share with all the people that are kind enough to stop by, my first selfpublish Sketchbook: Mariachi Samurai Vol. 1. I spent a good chunk of time last year putting it together and the long hours drawing and scanning have paid off.

The book consist of a good portion of my character work among other things. It's 8x10in, 76pgs, Hardcover book and it came out looking really good. I tried to keep it as fun and versatile as possible and I think you guys will get a kick out of it.

Right now there's a couple of places were you can get it, Robocon in LA. and Earth 2 in Sherman oaks. I'll post their info in a bit. I'm working on getting it at more shops and a website to get it online.

So, let me know what you think.

Hey, can you tell us where you had it published? I'm interested in doing one myself down the road, and yours turned out looking really high-quality, so any info would be helpful.

Thanks and congrats!

Hey Jose,
It looks Great. I especially like the cover. I don't know if you remember me, but I took a class at the Academy and you taught me a few things (we exchanged some drawings). Congratulations on your book and I hope it's a great success. Take a look at my blog if you get a chance. I'd like some more of your helpful hints. Take it easy.

Don't listen to Joe Amaro, he's only responsible for some of the coolest Viewtiful Joe sculpts done by Jazwares.
Anyway, bought your book today man, esta perron!! as I read your bio I realized how similar our background is, for a time I consedered going to the Animation Academy with Mr. Zembillas, but I realized sculpting was my thing... check out my gallery online at www.thesculptorscorner.com/Sosa.htm
By the way, I LOVE Mazinger Z!!
Please feel free to contact me , as I would like to talk to you about sculpting that Mariachi Samurai.

Hello, I saw your sketch book at the Comic Con today and was impressed but I will wait for the actualy comic book with storyline. I am very impressed however, please do not read me as being critical or negative, I am just cheap :) In the past few years I have become very skeptical of comics in general but I will definitely buy this comic when it comes out. I have bookmarked your blog site. Please keep us all informed as to when that will be. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!!!
